News from New Zealand

Kate called from "the cottage" today. She is in love with the people of New Zealand. She saw a physician on Sunday when she was in dire straits. She said he was amazing. Sounds as if he was in his forties, a ?surgeon?, who had just returned from the Philippines treating lepers! He worked with amputees. He gave Kate the whole low down on the physiology of anxiety attacks and then drove Adam and Cameron to a pharmacy (on Sunday) so that they could get an rx for her! This cost her all of $17 total! She said the people in the hotel were very concerned for her, asking "Ms. Sheppard, is there anything we can do for you?"!!
The vistas are amazing....she was describing to me what she was looking at while on the phone- vineyards backed by forests and then the ocean! Scotty---beam me up!!!!

Guess What I'm wearing!

Just a quick note to let you all know that I put on the pants I wore to Amy's wedding (2 years ago?)and they fit with a bit of room too! Wore them to work today.(=
22 lbs todate!

Love my Sisters

I do love my sisters. As we get older, I realize how much we need each other. We have something that is becoming less common in this world- a family that truely cares about and likes each other. WE ROCK!!
